Surface Level Car Park Closure – Jan 19th, 2025

We want to inform you that the surface car park just off Marsh Road will permanently close after operations on January 19, 2025.

This decision complies with Section 160 of the Planning and Development Act 2000.

A new large-scale residential planning application for the 1.34-hectare site will soon be submitted to Louth County Council. A Section 247 meeting was held in November 2024 regarding this proposal, which includes plans to demolish the partially constructed building on the site.

Scotch Hall Shopping Centre offers ample parking with over 600 spaces available in the area. The entrance to the Scotch Hall car park is conveniently located off Dublin Road. To better meet customer needs, the car park’s opening hours have been extended; it will now operate daily from 7:30 AM to 11:30 PM.

Additionally, the cinema car park will continue to be available in the multi-story car park.
