Theme for Drogheda’s 2023 parade – “Mythology & Irish Legends”.
The parade commenced at Palace Steet and came to an end at the North Quay. Once finished the crowds crossed the historical River Boyne navigating their way to Scotch Hall where there was a line-up of events, live music and a family funfair.
A family friendly area featured face painting, crafts, and games, ensuring children of all ages had a memorable experience. Our friendly leprechaun treasure hunt was a great success, where participants found a hidden treasure or two!!
The community came together to celebrate the Irish heritage, and the Patron Saint of Ireland 🍀 🍀 🍀
