The Energy of Capoeira at Scotch Hall
We were delighted to welcome the Capoeira Arte Summer Festival 2026 to Drogheda on Saturday, 11th July. This event brought an exciting afternoon of Brazilian culture, live music and interactive performances to the heart of the centre. Whether discovering Capoeira for the first time, or already a fan of this unique martial art, dance and musical tradition, this free community event was an unforgettable experience for customers of all ages and abilities.
This vibrant celebration at Scotch Hall included:
- Live Capoeira performances
- Traditional Brazilian music
- Ginga for beginners
- Samba sessions for beginners
- Interactive demonstrations suitable for all
Visitors had the opportunity to watch skilled Capoeira practitioners showcase their athleticism, rhythm and artistry while enjoying an energetic atmosphere throughout the shopping centre.
